Mirna, a talented textile artist and architect hailing from the north-eastern region of Brazil. Residing in João Pessoa, Paraíba, her journey began as a means to unwind and connect through textile experimentation. Immersed in punch needle and hand tufting techniques, Mirna's work bridges contemporary allegories with cherished childhood memories. Memories in which textile crafts were intrinsic to family traditions. Guided by intuition, she intricately weaves threads, colours, textures, and shapes, forming pieces that exude playful organic forms in earthy tones.
