About the artist:
Voador Tecelagem, based in Rio and founded in 2016 by designer Valentina Saldanha, specializes in crafting textile art, radiant rugs and decorative tapestries. They use technquies like tufting, kilim weaving and canvas cotton painting are used, as well as create blankets, work in porcelain and are constantly making other home-warming and enlivening objects. Starting as a small atelier, Voador evolved, especially during the pandemic, with the addition of Valentina’s partner – Patrick, an experienced accessory designer.
